WGB – The Werkzeug: Social Commitment

Social responsibility has literally been a learning process for us over several years now. In the Indian state of Rajasthan, close to our production site in Jaipur, we support our own educational project, the Marino Wahoe School in Kukus.

With our help, sixty-five children aged between two and 14, from the lowest social class, are given an education there. In their own rooms, with their own teacher and their own materials - WGB also stands for “Wirklich Gute Bildung,” which when translated into English means, “Really Good Education".

Since the ground-breaking ceremony for this project, we have been actively involved in Kukus and have also started the ball rolling with special projects - or rather, we have started the minibus rolling. We have organised and funded a minibus to help transport children from the surrounding rural areas to attend school. The Marino Wahoe School is a project that is very close to our hearts. And because all of us follow our heart, we make sure we visit the school once or twice a year. You can see and learn more about the Marino Wahoe School project here: https://www.facebook.com/Marino-Wahoe-School-763971353805918/.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to help support us or even get involved as a local helper? Just get in touch with, or write to us at mws@wgb-the-werkzeug.de.
